Hot Wheels Crack-ups (1983)

Bought some bulk Hot Wheels at a yard sale and found this little gem. One of my favorite hot wheels series. This is the Fire Chief crack-up that shows door damage when being hit on the driver side.

Play-Doh Mad Monster Creator (1994)

Actually bought this back at Christmas time for my daughter. It's probably one of the more fun Play-Doh sets that I've bought. Had a ton more pictures but the pic data became corrupted on my iPad for some reason.

Milton Bradley Robotix R-2000 (1984)

Pick this up last Friday. It rocks! My daughter and I made a walking Dino complete with moving mouth and rear claw. Check out the pics and the short video.

Giga Pets - Digital Doggie

Long time no post. It's been a while but I have returned. To celebrate I figured I'd start out with this little gem. Ahhhhh...The joys of virtual pets. I found this one in my wife's old toys. Prepare to feed, play, and clean up virtual poo with this little LCD game. Before Nintendogs and Cats there were Giga Pets.

Teddy Ruxpin 1985 complete with extras

Ahhhhhhh good old Teddy Ruxpin. I remember getting him on my 5th birthday and how he used to tell me jokes and make me laugh...wait no that was my pet pig...Teddy Ruxpin was quite a marvel back in the day because he could talk! I remember how pumped I was when I got him. He was the worlds first talking doll and a very cool one at that. He came with a book and a cassette tape which went into his back, and played the story. All while moving his mouth and eyes. He had quite a line up of accessories including Grubby, which was his add on companion which would talk and sing along with Teddy. Here's a poor quality video showing them in action!

Too bad he broke just as easily. Kid's in the 80's were pretty rough on their toys. At least I know I was.

1998 McDonalds Happy Meal Play-doh set

I picked this up a few months ago on ebay. My daughter really liked making the french fries...too bad she also liked trying to eat them as well. I guess that's what I get for letting a toddler make me dinner. My only real gripe with this toy is that the play-doh tends to get stuck in hidden crevices where you make the french fries, but it's still pretty cool. I know it's late 90's but I always wanted the burger king set when I was young and the price was too good to pass up.

Mad Scientist Dissect-An-Alien

Whoohoo! Picked this up off of ebay the other day. The alien goo is all gone but I can always make more of that.

SNES Super Scope

All I have to say is that my wife has an eye for a prize. I picked this up @ Roger's Sale in Ohio. The box is in great shspe and the scope looks like it was hardly ever used. Thats not the best part though...I only paid $2 dollars for it.

Polly Pocket Wrist Band

Polly Pocket Stampin' School Playhouse

I found one of my wife's old toys. Remember Polly Pocket? No? Perhaps you'll remember the other toy made buy Bluebird called Might Max. Regardless of which one you had, they were both pretty neat portable toys to keep you entertained.
This is one had a little accident though. It appears that the stamper leaked all over the place and ruined the back picture of the top part. At least it's complete though.

Im going to win

Playing some Keys To The Kingdom

NES Power Pad

Last update for the day. Picked up this with the other gaming stuff today.

SNES

I also picked up an SNES today. It was only $5 dollars so I couldn't pass that up. I can easily sell this thing and quadruple my money. It didn't come with a power cord which is a bummer, but not too much can go wrong. It's a little sun faded, which gives it that putrid yellow look on some spots, but all in all it was a really good deal.

Sega Game Gear

Yeah I know...this is more video games than toys, but I picked it up today and it's from the 90's. I had planned on reselling this one, but there are some leaky capacitors that need replaced. I might do an LED mod and get rid of the florescent bulb inside. That will make the battery last for about 9hrs. Which is huge for this system.

And here's a video of it in action.

Erector 375 (1981)

Here it is...the erector 375. With this bad boy you can build anything your little brain desires. It's kind of like legos only with metal.

Blast From The Past

Here's a blast from the past. I remember my brother having this toy. I think it was the ice one. In a nutshell you create a monster, throw him in a vat of acid(fake of course), and watch his flesh fall off. This toy seems to be extremely rare. I'd love to get my hands on it.

McDonalds Flintstones

Back in 90's the Flintstones movie came out; McDonalds came out with these cool little set of toys. Each Happy Meal came out with a house that had a door that opened and a car.

Board James Review of Key to the Kingdom

Here is a video review of Key to the Kingdom from Board James aka the Angry Video Game Nerd. Check it out and you'll see just why this game is so awesome.

Key To The Kingdom

Well I finally found the game at a price I was willing to pay @ just $32 dollars. Quite a steal if you ask me.
